Yup. If you happen by a Goodwill-type store, you could check for appropriate spoons. You know, teaspoons, in decent shape, with metal handles that are flat and wide enough to drill a hole in. I know I could buy spoons at the dollar store, but I don't like to mutilate brand-new items if I can help it.
I've been using the one at sprout (http://thesprouts.org/), which they taught me how to use in exchange for me teaching them how to use the industrial sewing machine they were given. I got the better deal, since the sewing machine didn't actually work.
*nod* Thank you for your willingness. If sprout gets tired of my asking questions about their hardware, I'll offer to help you reorganize your workshop in exchange for holes drilled. :)
