We went to Shelburne Museum this weekend to see the quilts, among other things. Their current exhibition is called Man-Made Quilts, and features the work of male quilters from the Civil War era to the present. One piece was by Fraser Smith -- it's the third quilt in the third row, called "Calypso" -- and I took a close look at it but still didn't realize it was made of something other than fabric until I read the placard next to it!

After looking at and talking about quilts all weekend, I went to a games party... and continued to see and make quilts everywhere.
