Getting spoons from Goodwill and Salvation Army is a slow process, but the good news is that I've learned to use a drill press!

Yup. If you happen by a Goodwill-type store, you could check for appropriate spoons. You know, teaspoons, in decent shape, with metal handles that are flat and wide enough to drill a hole in. I know I could buy spoons at the dollar store, but I don't like to mutilate brand-new items if I can help it.

I've been using the one at sprout (http://thesprouts.org/), which they taught me how to use in exchange for me teaching them how to use the industrial sewing machine they were given. I got the better deal, since the sewing machine didn't actually work.

Yay, thank you! Now that people are responding thusly to this post, I'm starting to think it a little more possible that I can amass 100 spoons in the next six weeks or so. (Less than seven weeks! w00t!)

Yay spoons!
It remains to be seen whether I'll make it to Squares tomorrow. I have a Huge Honkin Leg Cramp, and just now I tried to walk from bed to kitchen to get a glass of water, took three steps and I had to fall back into bed. Luckily I have my wonderful Kyle waiting on me hand and foot.
