I've loved this painting for years. I think I first saw it because someone posted a link to the artist on hatrack (http://www.hatrack.com/cgi-bin/ubbmain/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum;f=2;hardset=0;start_point=0;DaysPrune=0).
I posted it because I came home last night to find a jar full of beautiful gladioli sitting by my front door. majordomo said he had no clue who'd left them there, and I was hoping that someone would out themselves in response to this post.
