I'm hoping to spend a night or two in Berlin at AP's expense in November (the German bureau always has me spending an extra day filling out paperwork; in the past, it's been in Frankfurt but Berlin is much closer to Dresden). If I can't get them to put me up, I shall keep this in mind. Thanks.

Except for a little modification to the bar... I really didnt see ANY visual indication this wasnt just another hostel...

On the upside , if this is their primary marketing thrust you fellow guests should be an interesting lot :)

They have a big shelf of every Douglas Adams book in every language. And the space theme is kinda cool. The last time i stayed there, in December, it was being heavily renovated though...

I've stayed there! It's my favorite hostel in all of Berlin!!!! It's so awesome.

Well, let me recommend it again! It's so clean. I'm pretty sure it would be okay to perform brain surgery on their floor. For a hostel that's really special.

Also, you have to bring your own towel.
