Beautifully done! I haven't done much two-color knitting, and am very impressed at how neat you got the stranded rows to look. Any tips for getting the tension so even?
Thank you! I'm not sure why stranded/Fair Isle knitting is easier for me than for most people. My best guess is that I've been doing fine-motor work for my entire professional life and the skills carry over. When I'm doing 1x1 or 2x2 stripes, I hold one of the yarns on top of my left pointer finger and the other on top of my left middle finger, so one is dominant (it'll be more visible on the inside). And for this hat, I blocked it -- which I hadn't done before and I do feel like it made a difference in how... coherent? finished? professional? it looks.
