Sadly, a lot of the same books show up on the lists for all my favorite books (the contraindicated titles are mostly serious books about Christianity). I'd appreciate more varied compendia of Books Not To Read, as my Books To Read list is perpetually, unmanageably long.

It didn't work for me. I tried the Hobbit and it un-suggested several books I adore including Dress your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris, Night by Elie Wiesel, Two Madeline L'Engle books, Anita Diamant's Red Tent, She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb, and A Separate Peace. I love all of those books

It un-suggested The Devil in White City which Sean loves, and he is a huge Hobbit fan.

All of the above were in the top ten of their non-suggestions!

It appears that this list is NOT what Pandora is to music. Oh well. It could have been fun!
