Arlington Open Studios is this weekend!

I'm going to be in Arlington Open Studios again this weekend -- this is my eighth or ninth year, I forget. In addition to my usual quilts, bags of various sizes, blank cards with my photography on them, macramé bracelets, etc., I'll be selling these wraparound skirts, which are a relatively new item for me. I'm really proud of how they twirl! And I've made matching purses for some of them.



Open Studios is Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 at Arlington Center for the Arts, 41 Foster Street. Hope to see you there!

I can take custom orders, but only if you're not in a hurry. Rose has decided that sleep is for babies, so I find myself scrambling just to get enough sleep myself, and having to do basic life maintenance (shower, dishes, laundry) during babysitter time, when I would normally be able to sew. But this is only a phase, it can't last forever, right?

The skirts are in the $65-$75 range; bags average about $40 with a lot of variation; photo cards are $5 each or 5 for $20; and I'll have a couple of different sized quilts for sale.
