Heh, yeah. :)

On the one hand I've seen Christmas Carol enough for one lifetime, but on the other hand I absolutely love seeing a show I can sing along with, and this is probably the one I know best (having worked backstage for it). "Clutching, grasping, pinching, scraping, covetous and mean old men!"

It's funny how playing Scrooge for 20 years (or however long Tim's been doing it) primes one for being type-cast as Roy Cohn, Moliere's Miser, and other similarly grumpy characters. He's really a charming and kind guy. I've seen the HBO Angels, and we saw a production in Boston a few years back, but you're right, nothing compares to Trinity's production -- I'm guessing because Oskar directed it (he's the one who commissioned Tony to write it in the first place, so he knows the play's soul better than anyone).

You have blown my mind a little bit.

I see from their webpage that Anne Scurria is still with them. I could have sworn she left years ago, so maybe I need to go back and see them again. She is *so good*.

Yes! Annie is still a regular company member, and she is still awesome. She is one of the strongest, most versatile actors I know.
