Sunday in the park with Martha
Apr. 22nd, 2004 05:06 pmSunday, May 23rd: a picnic on the Charles River, along Mem Drive near JFK St. The general idea is for everyone I know to have a chance to meet everyone else I know. Starting around 2 or 3 pm, bring your friends and family, bring food and drinks, bring kites and frisbees, bring umbrellas and picnic blankets.
If you want to meet my mother, plan on staying late: she is teaching circus school in the afternoon and won't arrive from Providence until about 5:30.
I do apologize for the difficulty of parking -- there is a garage up closer to Harvard Sq. Walk, or ride a bike, perhaps?
In case of precipitation, I will schedule a different Sunday afternoon in June. But I hope that's not necessary.
