It's a medieval manuscript of some sort -- probably a hymn or something like that. It's under glass as the decoration of the coffee table at the house where I went for dinner (and mah jongg) last night.
Was it really the same song? That's not where I was last night, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were many copies of a particular medieval song in existence.
I could see playing it every week. How do you guys determine when you're done for the evening? Is it a certain number of points, or rounds, or bedtime? If I played regularly, I'd be one of the "just one more game before we quit" people. When I first discovered Settlers of Catan, we used to play every night, and sometimes I'd notice I'd won the game but not tell anyone because then we'd have to stop playing.
With me and Settlers what happens is I'm happily building my roads and cities and having a great time and someone tells me they just won and I have to stop.
We play at a local coffee shop, usually until we get tired or somebody has to leave because of work in the morning. We did actually close down the place once, but that was before two of our group had a baby, so that doesn't tend to happen anymore.
