majordomo started making two things in one evening: one is beer, which he says looks good so far. The other is The Dark Crystal, an ice cream made with chocolate malt barley and two kinds of crystal malt. I'm not a beer person, but The Dark Crystal is going to be really yummy.
I tried a pun-based ice cream, "hopscotch," with hops (Saaz, I think, as the least bittering I could find) and Scotch bonnets. I kinda liked it, but nobody else did, so it never made it to Baitcon. If you continue experiments in the "deconstructed beer" vein I would be more than happy to, um, dispose of any leftovers. :)
I initially read that as "two kinds of crystal meth" and was like 1) you can make ice cream with crystal meth? 2) There is more than one kind of crystal meth? and 3) Wait, WHAT????
