I didn't even know there were power problems in Boston until I heard a story tonight about some Nstar work tonight. I guess this is because I don't watch TV or listen to news on the radio (Besides things like fresh air and marketplace).
I saw this picture on Thursday but didn't recognize it as the Boston skyline. :(
I sort of heard about it on Tuesday night -- first, I saw flashing lights on the Mass Ave Bridge when I got off the bus to go to Squares around 7:30, and then later someone came into Lobdell and mentioned that half of Boston was without power.
Boston.com said that the Pru and Copley malls were back online as of early Friday morning -- but I went down there in the afternoon and the Copley mall was all dark and closed except for the Marriott's restaurant, which was showing a basketball game on the biggest TV screen I think I've ever seen.
