I don't know what it's going to be yet. It's too long to be a bracelet; I have enough bookmarks... I'm thinking I might sew it to a piece of black fabric and incorporate it into a bag or a piece of clothing.
Awesome! I'm too OCD to do these without a clear and exact pattern in my head, but I love how it just kind of flows together. Sew to elastic and make a headband?
OK, having made a couple of friendship bracelets way back when, that must have taken a long time.
I also had a few friendship bracelets that had been made for me, and when they wore out I sewed them to the front of my denim jacket (which was already decked out in patches and buttons), kind of like military campaign ribbons.
Yeah, I didn't count how many hours, but maybe ten or twelve? But I do these when I'm doing other things, like talking with people at a party or on long car trips, so it's not like I'm _spending_ time making them.
