Yay wedding flowers! I don't recommend Christmas cactus for that purpose, though. ;)
You'll see a lot more flowers on my LJ, I hope. New camera = new inspiration to post images that I wouldn't have been able to make with the old point-n-shoot. :)
I've heard that if you move a Christmas cactus from a well-lit room to a poorly-lit one, that will cue flowers. I tried that with mine and I got eight flowers (admittedly it's a fairly small plant yet). This photo is at a friend's house where I was watering the plants, and it seems to be a permanent fixture in a sunny kitchen window, so I dunno.
The new camera is a Canon Rebel. My husband got me a couple of lenses beyond the one it came with. I don't remember which one I was using the day I took this photo, though.
