homeward bound?

We've been looking for an apartment, hoping to move June 1st or 15th. We have a lot of criteria, but we've seen some places on craigslist that are very close to what we want, so we have hope. But time is starting to run short, I'm starting to get nervous, so I'm starting to look at realtors.

I noticed that allbostonapts.com has a lot of listings on CL that might be what we want but I'd have to get more info about them before I could decide. So I went to their website to see if they have more info. There, I found this sentence:

"You can search by the community where you wish live, by the number of bedrooms you require or by viewing all are listings."

I can't decide if it's hilarious or tragic, but we are absolutely NOT using their services.

i'd put my vote against the folks at Apartment Rental Experts. they've been showing our place and doing it very poorly.

Mmm, thanks for the advice. I think we're going to talk to Maven first -- they seem to have a lot of Davis-centric things that look good. I'm not crazy about giving all my info to a realtor and then paying their fee, but I also hate not knowing where I'm going to live in a month. Must resist feeling desparate, as nothing good can come from such a feeling.

Let me speak for a moment:
Not all realtors charge an automatic-regardless-of-if-we-find-you-a-space fee.

And dammitall, if I can't find friends a good place to live, what good am I as a realtor anyways?

I should actually be able to show you items in Davis area, as I think my agency has some listings. Let me know.

And, while I can't offer a discount (that's called 'rebating' and is quite illegal) I think I can chip in more on a housewarming party if I have more cash, and I would love to chip in for yours.
