Have I asked you before if you ever sell your stuff? Because I want this. I want this *bad*.

:) Wow, thank you!
This one was a gift, but I still have many* of the fabrics. I would be happy do do a commission for you, if you're interested. I wouldn't do the same pattern again, but I could do something with pinwheels or something with an optical illusion of cubes, or something else entirely.

*I used up the pale lavender print, the dark purple solid, and the fuchsia, but I'm pretty sure I can get more of the fuchsia and possibly also the dark purple.

Depending on the pattern (which affects how long it takes to piece the quilt), a lap quilt (45x55" or so) would cost somewhere between $150 and $200. A wall hanging would be less, obviously, and a bed quilt would be more.

Oh, golly. [Rubs hands together gleefully] So maybe I could commission something from you? I'd love that. You know, what I'd love for my living room is a lap quilt, kind of old-fashioned, maybe(?), in sort of rustic, earthy colors. My living room decor, such as it is, is forest green/rust/almond/brownish, and it's designed to be warm and comforting, so a cozy, handmade quilt would be perfect over the couch. Maybe we should email privately so we can discuss whatever details we need to. But generally I'm quite flexible about the pattern (pinwheels sound nice!) and material. And $200 would be a very agreeable price for something as lovely as you could make.

Yay! New project!
I'd be happy to do an old-fashioned pinwheel sort of design for you. I wanted to start choosing green and brown and rust fabrics and draw a mockup today, but then there was this slush and it needed to be removed from our sidewalk and driveway before it turned to ice, so I'm just getting started now. I'll email you in a day or two with fabric swatches and stuff. Wheee!!

Thank you. I had a lot of fun picking out the fabrics for this. I made four baby quilts for boys last year, so I was sort of giddy about being able to use pink! and flowers! and ballerinas!
