it's unfortunately supposed to be a joke... but a lot of uppity T guards and some police believe they can tell you where you can and can't. they usually can't show you paper with policy on it either. like on public sidewalks for instance, not even ignoring private property (like a store).
i don't know the T's official stance on it, but some other locales have declared taking pictures to be a no no. however, the uppity photographer's right people have said otherwise.
