That wheatback looks like it's in great shape. And somehow, looks slightly smaller. I never noticed that the wheatback cents were smaller. Now I need to check for myself.

The diameter of the 1950 wheat cent I used in the images was .1 mm smaller than the 2010 coin I used. Presumably that's due to wear.
yeah... don't know. (my inherent aesthetics go "but the old font is PRETTY and the new one is UGLY" but... yeah, i know i'm a product of my time and personal aesthetics are not universal :)
