a bag with red and white flowered fabric, a bag made from a pair of red corduroys, and a red bag with red tomato fabric
This week's inspiration seems to have been brought to me by the color red. Unfortunately, my camera (or is it my computer screen?) doesn't handle red very well. Do other cameras do better?

Thank you! I wish I could remember who gave me the red cords. :)

Do you have exposure compensation on your camera? It's the little + or -, even my very very basic point and shoot has it. I bet if you underexposed it a bit, the reds would come out right. That's the - side.

Ohh, thanks -- I'll try that! I'm not sure if it's the exposure, but it's true that reds tend to look washed-out.

Remember film? I used to always buy Kodak because it was supposed to be good for warm colors, as opposed to Fuji, which was good for landscapes.

*snerk* I shoot film quite a bit, yes, even now. My best camera is a film camera, and I like some of the things film lets you get away with. I prefer Fuji for the brilliant blues and greens, but yes, Kodak is better for warm colors.
