Picnic Postponed Again

Due to a conspiracy of meteorologists, I'm postponing Sunday in the Park with Martha yet again.
The new date is Sunday August 29th.
I hope you'll be able to join us, and if you know anyone at the
National Weather Service, please ask them to hold the hurricanes!

Much as I'm sorry you have to keep fighting with the logistics of this, I'm thrilled that you have rescheduled to a date when I think I'm free.

Good. I've been hearing a mixed response of "yay, I'm free then" and "boo, I'll have moved away by then." I'm not upset about having to move the picnic, I just hope it actually happens eventually! I didn't want to just keep pushing it back by one or two weeks, because I don't handle heat well, and if I scheduled it for July and it turned out to be an 85-degree day, I would be unhappy about having to sit out in the heat all day but I'd feel silly postponing it at that point. Watch, now August 29th will be 85 degrees! :P
