I dunno, the NBA playoffs are on TV right now. For me this seems like a rather silly tradition. It doesn't involve cheese, however, just grown adults being paid big money to put a ball through a basket more than the other guys.

Head out the various autumn fairs and I'm sure you'll find lots of silly traditions like this.

What I thought amusing was the link to the "British Shin Kicking Contest" video.

We watch a few minutes of the video every year. The people falling down the hill tend to be nowhere near the cheese.
