And she won a Gold Medal (with her rowing team) at the Los Angeles 1984 Olympics! I don't think I've ever met an Olympic medalist before last weekend.

I was about to say, "Are you sure it's the same person? The name isn't very uncommon," but then I found a photo of the rowing team and it sure does look like her. Huh, pretty cool!

I missed those. I'll definitely be visiting her again next year, though! I loved how excited she was about all the new things she's learned to do recently.
