ISO chess/checkers set

I want to play checkers with my toddler, but my chess/checkers set is glass. Does anyone (local to Greater Camberville) have a less breakable set, who would be interested in trading with me? I'd love something nice (wood, or wood board with metal pieces), but I'd be willing to trade this for plastic if that's what you have to offer.

I think we have a cheap plastic one leftover from Wartron that you could have. Its surface may have some puzzle-related text drawn on some of the squares, I don't remember.

Have you checked Little Fox? This seems like the type of thing they might have (and when you're done with it, you could just donate it back to them).

That's a good idea! I wonder if they'd take the glass set... I'm in an organizing-and-giving-things-away phase, so I'm inordinately excited about exchanging something big for something half its size that serves the same purpose.
