I built a thing! I designed this hanging shelf months ago and then it took me an eternity to get it built and installed. But now my sewing room is relatively baby-safe. (I wouldn't leave her there unattended, though: there are still some potential dangers, but nothing as immediate as the ability to pull the iron down on her head, hot or not.)
