Aug. 30th, 2012 09:20 amI did some volunteer work for Beloved Quilts over the summer, making quilts to donate to homeless shelters, and this is the back of the most recent one I finished. The triangles were someone's unfinished quilt project that had been donated to the Nave Gallery for their crafters' yardsale, and the front of the quilt was made by a volunteer at a previous quilting event -- so three different people worked on this particular quilt.
If you're interested in making Beloved quilts, there should be a quilting day coming up in September -- no sewing experience necessary! Comment here and I'll send you the info as soon as I know when and where the event will be. If you're not Boston-local, you can still make Beloved quilts to donate wherever you are.
