Tonight, for the first time I can remember, I heard someone on the radio use the term geek the way I usually use it. It was a piece on All Things Considered, an interview with one of the musicians from The Long Players; he referred to himself as a "record geek," meaning that he's a passionate expert on record-related trivia.
