Sunday in the Park postponed by one week

I hoped the weather gods would change their minds, but it's going to be too rainy this weekend for a picnic. We'll try for next weekend, Sunday the 19th.

Alas, the long-term forecast for next weekend appears to be no better (http://www.weather.com/weather/extended/USMA0066?par=yahoo&site=www.yahoo.com&promo=extendedforecast&cm_ven=Yahoo&cm_cat=www.yahoo.com&cm_pla=forecastpage&cm_ite=CityPage). But we can ignore it and hope the weathermen are wrong. One thing I've learned living in contemporary America is that because someone claims to have "Science" on their side is no reason to pay them any heed.

Right. I'm not even looking at next weekend's forecast until Wednesday. No point in stressing about it.
