I have The Plague. I am going to work, but then I will probably want to go home, eat chicken soup, and fall over. If you do see me at Diesel, be advised you should avoid kissing me at all costs.

Eat chicken soup? Must be nice and chunky.

When you make the chicken soup, I recommend sacrificing the chicken to Aesculapius. While you're at it check the entrails and see if they're propitious.

Some learned physicians would recommend balancing the humors in your body by letting out a pint or two of the bad blood. I, however, think that's extreme. A couple of leeches should do the trick.

p.s. Chicken soup is mostly noodles and veggies (and rotisserie chicken), and enough broth to cook the noodles through. so yes, "eat."

I was just suggesting some time-honored treatments for the plague (and just about every other ailment). Missed you at the Diesel and hope you're feeling much better.
