i think you might love this site i'm part, of Momentile (http://mtile.us/mirandate) (it lets you upload one picture per day (http://mtile.us/login)). If you want an invite let me know!

Thanks -- that's a neat site. But I'd rather keep all my posts in one place (to torment my friends list!). :)

I love your neatly labeled boxes and their destinations! Granted, J's parents have a more complicated multi-step move, but I'll pass on my suggestion anyway: label your boxes with your name/new address/telephone etc. This way, if something doesn't come off the truck, they can find it for you. I just used bright colored return address stickers.

I think I missed something. (Not too surprising, given how sporadically I read LJ.)

Yup, we bought a condo!

The post you missed was about our apartment being available, so if you know anyone who might be interested in a two-bedroom, walking distance from the Red Line, please direct them to this page:

Not only identifying labels, but I always use color-coded stick-on labels: 1" round dots - so they are easily seen. White - cellar storeroom; red - living room; green - kitchen; blue - bedroom; yellow dining room; etc. Then, a poster showing the dots and the destinations near the door to the apartment means the moving men don't have to ask and everything - furnture included - winds up in the right place. - Grandma
