This guy in California has been building a castle by hand for twenty years. What impresses me most is that he's forging the iron hardware and making the oak doors and staircases himself, by hand. And that the design comes from his childhood platonic ideal of a castle, not from any research of specific castles.

Yeah, I looked for more photos too. Surprising that there aren't more, considering that it's a tourist destination with a name.
