weather.com is a dirty rotten liar

After checking the weather predictions obsessively yesterday, I finally decided that today's picnic would be cancelled due to outdoor coldness, grayness, and soggy ground.

Now that it's warmer and the sun has come out, my picnic remains cancelled.

It will, however, happen at the same hour at the same site, on Sunday June 20th. Yes, it's Fathers' Day, but it's also a perfect time for a Solstice party. So bring poetry to read aloud, and musical instruments to play.

Yep, sigh. On the bright side for me, I made enough chicken salad to keep me in lunches for a week now instead. Fingers crossed for better weather June 20.
