Best outfit ever!

It's all her concept! I just buy the clothes, she decides what to wear and gets dressed all by herself. Sometimes she wears all dots or all stripes -- those are my favorite outfits. Sometimes she wears all purple, which can be less aesthetically pleasing. Today (not the outfit pictured above, that was last Friday) she decided to layer a dress over a skirt over the pajama pants she wore last night.

That's excellent! Kids tend to have much more fun fashion sense than grownups.

Omg, she's got Kylie's aesthetic. OK, K doesn't wear skirts, but she's worn mis-matched socks since she was old enough to dress herself.

I love it! Sometimes the way R layers her clothes reminds me of the people in paintings by James Christensen.

There's a kids book, I think it's "Ella Sarah Gets Dressed", in which the child wears approximately this outfit for a tea party. We had it from the library 10 years ago so it's hard to remember. Sometimes my kids wore really clashing things. I do recall wishing for a button to wear sometimes, "Child Dressed Self". :-)
