a green and purple quilt with cirle-ish shapes
I finished this one last week, and one of these days I will make it over to the shipping store to find a mailing tube for it, to send it to Germany.

The woman who ordered it lives there. She's a friend or cousin of my mom's, I forget which.

Beautiful! I'm amazed at how much feeling of motion you can achieve in something static; the quilt feels like it's moving in circles even when it's just sitting there

Thank you!

I am on a constant quest to find a way to portray dancing (squares or contras) in quilt form. Not literally, because I've done a bit of that and it doesn't translate well, but to capture the movement from one formation to another and make the colors interact in a way somehow analogous to the way dancers do.
