Could 1 be Moo Baa La la la? Really, that's us eavesdropping on THEM, though. So maybe not.
9: The cat in the hat comes back.
I should go look at 10 Minutes Til Bedtime, cuz I think it matches for 4.
I'm sure I've seen the marshmallows, but I can't bring it to mind.

Not Moo Baa La La La -- all three animals are on the same page, and they are eavesdropping on a conversation in a language they don't understand.

I'd forgotten about the Cat's hat stripes turning the bathtub pink! I'll give you credit for that even though it's not the book I was thinking of.

I don't know 10 Minutes Til Bedtime! It sounds like you've got the right theme, though the book I have in mind is significantly less phrenetic.

Turns out Ten Minutes Til Bedtime's green and yellow stripes are the kid's pajamas (is that related to the cat's pajamas?), not the window treatments. Jocelyn and I will cogitate on the others.

Ah, good! Glad to hear J. is getting on the case. :)

Could 4 be Goodnight Moon? And 5 sounds like Jamberry, but I don't have a copy at hand to check.

I'm happily reading all the comments, but I haven't read those books in so many years I can't get any answers. :)

I'll hazard a guess that 7 (the armchair) is from George & Martha. Oh, and then as I type that, I am suddenly realizing why you might have that book. :)

Y'know, it's funny, we don't have any George & Martha books, though of course I knew them growing up. I wonder if there's a box of books that my mom hasn't unearthed yet...
