pottery class, anyone?

Is anybody out there interested in taking a pottery class? It's Thursday evenings starting October 27th, and it's $65 for six classes. It's taught by Judy Kanigel, and we'll be working (or playing, as the case may be) at Morse School in Cambridgeport. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll have access to a wheel, but other than that you can do anything you want. The class is limited to 10 adults; right now I think there are 6 of us signed up.

Wah!
I've been looking for a class, but not until after the Holidays.

Is this a basic class? What time does it meet?

It is a basic class: it's small enough that Judy can cater her lessons to the ability level of whoever's in it, and I expect those levels to vary. I'd say I'm a beginner.

We don't know yet what time, but expect it to be 7ish.

Okay, I'm interested. 7:30 would be better for me, but I can probably make 7 with more effort.

I'll let the organizer know.

You might consider the adult classes at Mudflat in Somerville. For more info, ask [livejournal.com profile] roozle who's actually taken them.

I know about them, and I like a lot of what I've seen from there (at ArtBeat and in your living room). The class I'm taking has two distinct advantages for me: it's about a third of the price, and I'm already in Cambridgeport at dinnertime on Thursdays. (I try to avoid riding in Somerville after dark, if I can help it.)
