Yeah, me too. Or any hair of varying colors -- it looks so pretty in a french braid! We'd dyed her hair just the day before to try and get a bright color (we used Manic Panic), but it just didn't take very well in the gray.
Coloring it does not change the texture. I rather like my hair, when it is colored, more now than ever before. God I cannot wait until my hairdresser's broken arm is healed so I can get rid of this gray.

I like braiding gray-ing hair. It often has a texture that does things that younger hair doesn't do.
