I love finding fractals in nature. Of course, genetically engineered* vegetables might not count as nature, but.

*It might not be what's called a GMO, but it's still bred from a cabbage-ish ancestor.

I should be more adventurous in trying vegetables that are similar to familiar ones but, as you say, more mathematically interesting. :)
