Perhaps it's a queen mallard; the only breeding duck in the duck hive.

Hahah I have no idea why that completely nonsense answer came into my head or why I felt compelled to write it down, but there you go!
It's fun to imagine ducks swarming and buzzing like bees when they fly, though.
