Apparently six months of climbing trees and small buildings (and getting trapped in garages) has not yet taught this one that sometimes she'll need humans to help her out of trouble. Or maybe we've been too compliant in providing said help. This occasion was no exception.

I'd have waited about six hours before offering help. Maybe putting a bowl of food on the ground. Cats can jump down one story... They'd just RATHER have you do it.

I'm a pushover. I'll do anything for the attentions of a cat. Well, almost anything.

The first thing she did when she was safely on the ground was to roll in a pile of leaves, grit, and no doubt motor oil in the garage. I wasn't gonna touch her after that.
