As the former fosterhome of the bunny in question, I can answer that question for you! He's a Marten, particularly a Sable Marten. (Hard to see in the photo but his coat is a dark chocolate color rather than black.) He's not quite a Dwarf Marten but he's close enough that he's got the shortened face and ears of a dwarf.
