I happened by Alberico Park in Cambridgeport the other day and saw that they've removed the basketball court and playground and are replacing them with structures made from stripped-down trees. One of the designers was there and he described this one as an "inverted slingshot." I look forward to seeing the project when it's finished.

Are they climbing-stable? or are they just Art? ("Just" as in, "they could be BOTH Art AND climbable")

I asked if it would still be a playground and he said yes, by which I hope he means these things will be climbable -- but they aren't right now, of course.
