And yes. I bought a book last week called Self-Sufficiency. I bought it [primarily because it was cheap and also] because it has chapters on all sorts of of things I already know how to do, like quilt, and garden, and make bowls. It also has chapters on things I've done but am by no means proficient at, like bake bread and weave baskets. And it has chapters on things that I'd like to do sometime, like build tree houses and raise chickens. Sadly, I'm not going to learn these skills from this book, judging by the instructions for the skills I *do* know how to do.
