Not quite right -- it's actually a Burro's Tail succulent. My mom had them when I was in San Diego... Like all succulents they are easy... just need lots of light and not too much water.

ETA: like all succulents, they can be propagated from a cutting, so you might not even need to buy it!

Whuffle and I have one. It keeps kicking off bits and pieces, so a cutting will be easy to manage if you want one.

Thanks -- the one in the photo is my mom's, so I'll ask her for a cutting. It hadn't occurred to me that it would be that easy. :)
